Uttar Pradesh today said industrial growth and job creation were the focal point of the state government agenda.
Interacting with industrialists, UP industrial development and MSME minister Satish Mahana reaffirmed the Yogi Adityanath government’s commitment to resolve their grievances and nurturing a pro-business environment.
Speaking at the sidelines of the 3rd Regional Council Meeting of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region here, Mahana thanked industrialists for reposing faith in the state and making the investment decisions.
Meanwhile, the minister invited them to the 2nd Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC) post Investors Summit 2018, slated for later this month, when the foundation of projects worth more than Rs 60,000 crore would be laid by union home minister Amit Shah.
The minister also took the feedback of businessmen to understand their challenges, while assuring them to taking steps to settle such issues in a time bound manner.
The government-industry interaction saw the participation of more than 50 CEOs across North India comprising 10 states & union territories. CII Northern Region head Sameer Gupta, who is also the managing director of Jakson Group, and Vinod Sharma, CII UP State Council chairman were present during the deliberations.
