Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the slew of fiscal measures announced by the Centre to shore up Indian companies amid slowdown.
He said the central government had set the ambitious target of India hitting $5 trillion mark and the new measures were accelerate investment and demand matrices, and thus expand domestic economy.
Yogi noted these measures would also promote ‘Make in India’ and boost manufacturing sector. He further exuded confidence that Indian companies would leverage these provisions and explore newer markets for growth, which would generate employment opportunities as well.
The CM claimed the central government interventions would facilitate the domestic companies to compete in the tough global markets and environment.
