Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath today stressed for equality in education across different central and state academic boards.
Addressing a gathering here, Yogi observed that when there was a lack of uniformity in the country’s education system, how could the children espouse the spirit of equality when they pass out of the academics.
Earlier, the CM inaugurated the 2nd edition of two-day CII School Summit on the topic of ‘Disruptive Innovative Ideas’.
He said owing to the proactive steps taken by his government, the strength of students in the UP government schools had risen by 5 million and currently 18 million pupils were enrolled with these institutions across the state.
According to CII, the Summit is an attempt to prepare innovative roadmap for the school education system in India with the active involvement of all stakeholders, including union and state government, private schools, educationists, companies, publishers, NGOs etc.
