Modi to visit Varanasi on Feb 16

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is touring his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi on February 16.

During his day long visit, Modi will inaugurate development projects of nearly Rs 1,000 crore, according to officials.

He will inaugurate Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Memorial Centre and unveil a 63 foot metal statue of the late leader.

The PM will also flag off Maha Kaal Express through a video link. India’s first overnight private train will connect three reverred ‘jyotirling’ pilgrim centres of Varanasi, Ujjain and Omkareshwar.

He will participate in the centenary celebrations of Shri Jagadguru Vishwaradhya Gurukul and release translated version of Shri Siddhant Shikhamani Granth in 19 languages.

Besides, Modi will dedicate to the nation about 30 projects, including 430 bed super speciality hospital and 74 bed psychiatry hospital at the Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

The PM will inaugurate the two day ‘Kashi Ek Roop Anek’ exhibition at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Hastakala Sankul and interact with international buyers and artisans from te US, the UK, Australia etc.
